How We Review
De La Mer is an independent Canadian review site. Our ratings are built from hands-on testing, not operator marketing. For every site we cover:
- We fund a real account and make a genuine deposit in Canadian dollars, usually by Interac e-Transfer.
- We play and then withdraw, timing how long the cashout takes and noting any KYC (ID verification) checks.
- We read the bonus terms in full — wagering requirements, game weighting, maximum cashout and expiry — and translate them into plain CAD figures.
- We verify the licence jurisdiction and explain honestly what it means for Canadian players, including when a site is regulated offshore (Curaçao, Anjouan, Malta) or by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission (a Mohawk Nation regulator, not a Canadian provincial one).
- We re-check regularly and date every page so you can see when it was last verified.
Editorial Independence
Our rankings are decided by our testing and never sold. We keep the review process separate from any commercial relationship, and we will tell you plainly when a site falls short — thin game weighting, slow payouts, or a bonus that is harder to clear than it looks. If we get something wrong, tell us and we will fix it.
