The Canadian Football League is Canada's professional gridiron football league, made up of nine teams from British Columbia to the Atlantic. It plays a distinctly Canadian version of the game — three downs, twelve players a side, a larger field and the single point (rouge) — and crowns its champion at the Grey Cup each November.
The CFL regular season runs from early June through late October or early November, followed by the playoffs. The championship Grey Cup is played in mid-to-late November, so the busiest CFL betting window is the summer and autumn.
